JOB TITLE:

Communications Supervisor

West Allis, WI

Salary:

$31.10-$35.54 Hourly

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree Required: Criminal Justice, Fire Science, Public Administration, Emergency Management, or related field.
• 2-3 years of recent dispatching and supervisory experience that includes extensive customer service interactions.
• Ability to accurately type 35 wpm and basic to intermediate knowledge of data entry as well as utilizing software following the needs of the department.
• Preferred intermediate knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Microsoft Outlook (mail, calendar, tasks), Word (templates, forms, mail merge, reviewing) and Excel; and Adobe Reader. Basic English, grammar, writing, and math skills.
• Experience working in team environments as well as diverse backgrounds.
• Possess the emotional intelligence to effectively perform the duties of the position.
